PLAYWAY NEWS
Playway started as an experiment in September 1998 and has served almost 150 families in the Korean and alien communities in Seoul. Children from birth to 3 years old come with a parent and play for 2 hours in the morning or afternoon. During the 18 months Korean parents, particularly, have learned the value of play in the overall (and sometimes quite astounding) development of their children. Children from other countries have had a relaxed inter-cultural experience.
It is time to move on. "Playwayites" have enjoyed the old Korean house in the precincts of the Anglican Cathedral in the centre of Seoul city. We have been glad to have the use of it, bur it is becoming very dilapidated, so at the end of this month this Playway will close its doors.
Our new PLAYWAY will open in Pundang on May 1st 2000. Details of the times and payments and a map are below or tel: 7222 1790. We hope to see many of you as can join us in Pundang.
OPEN Mon. to Sat., 4 sessions each day
10:00 to 11:20 Children from birth to 3 years with a parent.
11:40 to 1:00 Maximum of 2 sessions each week.
2:00 to 3:20 Membership for each child for 3 months is
3:40 to 5:00 240,000 won.
